To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of goat cortisol in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

I'm a PhD Candidate studying metabolic stress in dairy goats in the peripartum.
In total, 450 samples have to be analysed for each hormone, and analysis will be done in duplicate. Meaning I'll need a number of kits enough to run 900 tests.
Could you please send me a quote specifying the plate size (i.e. 96 well) and the number of free wells per plate. (i.e. 96 well minus the number of wells used for the standard curve).

This kit detects small molecule and it is based on competitive method.
The plate is coated with standard conjugate. The polyclonal antibody used in the kit is rabbit polyclonal antibody. The immunogen is modified standard. The secondary antibody used in the kit is goat-anti-rabbit antibody .The immunogen is rabbit IgG. Standard is purified small molecule.
We tested the mentioned sample stated in the manual..We suggest you follow the manual. We tested serum and plasma samples under 1:20 dilution before and the test value is 3-12.5ng/ml. The final concentration is 60--250ng/ml. You can refer to it.We can not ensure 100% on feces sample.If you want to test feces sample we suggest you do a pretest first if you want to test it.
